Zenith are constructing landmark cutting edge Renewable Energy projects, involving Solar, Wind, Thermal and BESS in Western Australia and have a strong pipeline of work. Current projects include;
- Kathleen Valley 95MW hybrid power station involving wind, solar, BESS and thermal
- Bellevue Gold 88MW Hybrid power station involving wind, solar, BESS and thermal
- Jundee brownfields retrofit and integration of 53MW of wind, solar and battery into the existing gas power station
- Nova Resources, final stages.
What you’ll do
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the primary focus of this role is to ensure existing renewable generation equipment (wind turbines, solar power generation, and BESS) are operated to deliver maximum penetration for site demands and contractual guarantees. This will be achieved by monitoring performance and providing trends and optimisation recommendations to internal stakeholders.
Key duties include:
- Maximise renewable asset availability and reliability.
- Analyse and interpret operational data for performance reporting and demand forecasting.
- Work with our OEMs and technical experts to gather data and insights.
- Develop operating procedures, monitoring strategies, and protocols.
- Work with operations and asset management teams on longer-term operational and maintenance strategies
- Conduct SCADA/Data analysis to reduce fossil fuel consumption and increase renewable penetration.
- Provide support to Project Managers and commissioning teams in developing acceptance criteria.
What we’re looking for
Experience and Skills
- A minimum of five (5) years post tertiary or trade work experience within the Renewable Energy/power generation industry
- Renewable Energy Equipment experience
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to analyse data and identify trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor of, Engineering, or Electrical trade qualification or equivalent
