Rental Account Manager – Earthmoving Equipment

One of Australia’s biggest Hire Earthmoving leaders is looking to build on its current Sales Team, with office listed in Perth WA, Newcastle, and Sydney NSW and all of Queensland this operation is no doubt one of the fastest growing fleets in Australia. Last year alone the grew by 118 new machines just ion the NSW and QLD fleet. Its goers without saying the business is on the growth direction and we are looking for a proven Rental BDM to maximise and manage existing relationships in Newcastle NSW. 

Live Job Opportunity - 

In this newly created role, you need to have previous experience in the rental market. We need a professional to start making head way with the major contractors and looking to take major wins in getting heavy line machinery into all major civil and key construction projects. The idea is that you start small then start expanding into other areas like the Hunter Valley, Newcastle Metro and Northern NSW towns like Port Macquarie, Coffs, and everything in between. You will be targeting the major site contractors and key procurements teams throughout the Newcastle area. 

You will need have strong sales skills to sell yourself and then the equipment to site. The business in Sydney has done very well in large Civil projects but also in the Tunnels, They can supply large equipment but also have specialist drilling machinery if needed in Brisbane that can be bought down.  

You will have number of different machines in your rental fleet, 

• Excavators – wheeled & Tracked 
• Wheel loaders
• Graders
• Rollers 
• Articulated dump trucks 
• Possie track loaders and Skid Steers
• Watercarts 
• Dozers 

Your outstanding track record in new business sales distinguishes you from your peers.  Your exceptional interpersonal, negotiation and relationship building skills are underpinned by your keen business sense and commercial acumen.  You are driven to succeed and are renowned for your strategic business thinking, technical expertise and solution-focussed approach, encompassed by your ability to deliver exceptional customer service and marketing strategies.  The focus to the role is to develop and deliver high quality customer service and make mark in the industry. 

Candidate requirements – 

• 3 – 5 years in earthmoving or construction equipment rentals.
• Strong contact with Tier 2 and tier 3 contractors. 
• Excellent negotiation skills. 
• Industry contacts and experience in how to track major projects.
• Excellent logistic and operational skills. 
• If you have technical skills set on the above equipment this would sublime.
• Career driven and highly motivated to win. 

Salary Package 

• Base Salary - $120,000 (We can go higher for the right candidate) 
• Superannuation 10.5%
