Here's what you'll do
- Conduct routine inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly;
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards;
- Manage landscaping and groundskeeping activities, including gardening, lawn care, and irrigation systems;
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels at all times;
- Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns related to maintenance or grounds issues;
- Collaborate with other departments to support special events and projects as needed.
This is how you’ll know you’re right for this role
- Proven experience in maintenance and groundskeeping;
- Trade Certificate preferable; Carpentry or Building
- Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, irrigation systems, and general property maintenance;
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team;
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to upholding high standards of cleanliness and presentation;
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required;
- Current Drivers License.
