We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Team Leader to join our Operations and Maintenance team in Kurri Kurri, NSW on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the Regional Manager you will be responsible for the coordination and daily supervision of the Operations and Maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and foster high performing teams including a mature safety culture ensuring a sustainable workforce plan.
- Health and safety of the operations and maintenance of the assets and its personnel
- Operations and maintenance of the assets to ensure they are reliable and available for commercial operations.
- Ensure regulatory, compliance and contractual obligations are met.
- Participation and support in budget development and cost control
- Provide subject matter expert advice and operational support to key stakeholders.
Your background
- Demonstrated Operational or Trade qualifications with experience working in any of the following sectors: power generation, industrial electrical, heavy plant or rail
- Demonstrated experience of Works Management Systems WMS- such as Maximo or Mainpac
- Sound knowledge of asset management including construction, commissioning, maintenance or operating of the following: industrial motors, compressor stations, gas turbines, heavy equipment,
- Demonstrated frontline leadership experience in developing, manage team performance and engagement of Operation teams.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across the organisation and externally; by building and developing relationships based on trust, integrity, and credibility.
About the Team
The team covers the Wilton Region that extends from Goulbourn to Port Botany and the Kurri Kurri area
We have a combination of Electrical, Mechanical and Civil trade backgrounds, with a cultural diversity amongst the team.
Our stations and office facilities are located at strategic sites and show a real sense of ownership by the team.
The maintenance and project work carried out by the team is diverse and underpins the reliability of the asset for our customers.
