**Job Overview:**
The Repairs and Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all manufacturing equipment and facilities. This role involves routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, as well as short stints of working in various manufacturing areas as needed.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including injection, blow, and rotational molding machines, screen printers, laser cutters, welders, and presses.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct emergency repairs promptly to maintain production schedules.
- Collaborate with the production team to schedule maintenance activities during planned downtimes.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation of all repairs and preventive maintenance performed.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance activities.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Occasionally work in different manufacturing areas to support production needs, gaining hands-on experience with various processes and equipment.
