About the role
We are looking to recruit a Full Time Research Assistant for our Sydney office to predominantly support our Healthcare Valuations team. The team works on a wide variety of assignments including retirement villages, aged care, and SDA housing. The role is a great entry point into this niche area of property valuations.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Monitoring and gathering property sales and associated research in accordance with instructions;
• Maintaining research databases;
• Pre-loading valuation reports and models with attention to detail and adherence to quality drafting standards; and
• Assisting team members as required.
This position would suit someone with a relevant degree in the property valuation area and/or with previous research experience who is looking for job flexibility and learning opportunities.

Skills and experience
A successful candidate would tick the following boxes:
• Excellent excel skills are essential, comfortability working with complex spreadsheets and an interest to learn your way around financial models;
• Ideally hold a relevant degree or have previous specialist research experience;
• Exposure to working with financial statements desirable but not essential;
• Excellent written communication and report drafting skills with previous experience drafting long form reports preferred; and
• Excellent time management skills and a desire to contribute to team success.
