Research Assistant - Psychology Department and Family Safety Team

This role sits within the Psychology Department and Family Safety Team. The Psychology department consistent of 20+ Neuropsychologists, Clinical Psychologists and Health Psychologists. The Family Safety Team are a multi-disciplinary team (Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Psychology) that provide support to hospital clients experiencing family violence.
Your new role:
- Code and analyse data
- Set up spread sheets and databases
- Prepare manuscripts for publication
- Build and maintain a reference database
- Assist with Ethics applications
About you:
- An undergraduate qualification in Psychology, as well as honours or a post-graduate diploma. Preference will be given to those in post-graduate psychology training courses with registration as a provisional psychologist
- Demonstrated skills in the area of research, including literature searching, data management, and research study/project design
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively and to prioritise and manage multiple demands
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
