- Salary Academic Level A6 ($93,413 p.a.) + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements
- Based at the Melbourne CBD campus
The Research Assistant will undertake research activities in line with the University's research strategy. It is expected that the Research Assistant will work with an increasing degree of autonomy as skills and experience develop.
To be successful in this position, you'll have:
- Demonstrated ability to experimentally characterise design and characterise electronic/photonic circuits.
- Experience in the area of neuromorphic devices (particularly optoelectronics operating principle). and device integration will be highly desirable.
- An understanding of designing and interfacing neural networks with neuromorphic devices via neuromorphic-based machine learning and simulation.
- Proven ability to undertake scientific research and development in research programs.
- Demonstrate ability to clearly communicate research results, concepts and knowledge.
Mandatory qualifications:
Qualification in the relevant discipline area and have commenced or enrolled to commence their PhD.
