About the role: We are currently looking for a Research Assistant to support the research and development of clinical assessments used by Australian and New Zealand allied health professionals. This work includes cultural/language test adaptation, test item development, participant and data collection site recruitment and coordination, normative data collection, equivalency and validation research, digital assessment testing, data management, literature reviews, as well as various administrative tasks related to the research and development process.

As a Research Assistant, you'll be responsible for:

  • Supporting the recruitment for the research projects as required and maintaining up-to-date stakeholder communication,

  • Providing project administrative support as required including data entry and data management,

  • Writing, editing and proof-reading of assessment components, manuscripts, and reports,

  • Coordinating and distributing research materials,

  • Other duties as required related to the adaptation, development, and publication of clinical assessments.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Honours University qualification in psychology, occupational therapy, speech pathology or related allied health field.

  • Demonstrated experience in research fieldwork.

  • Proactive, problem-solving, and team-orientated approach.
