Job description

(HE06) $86,360 to $93,285 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.Fixed term, part time position available for 9 months.The research co-ordinator will work across clinical trials on the cutting edge of nutrition research, exploring the effects of changing when people eat, on cardiometabolic health.Based at SAHMRI, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of several clinical trials, in people at increased risk of developing type 2 diabetes.To be successful you will need:

  • Experience working with research projects, including knowledge in research protocols and systems.
  • Familiarity with laboratory management and safety procedures; previous experience handling human biological samples would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated high level verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as a member of a team, showing initiative and supporting fellow team members.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, meticulous record keeping skills with the ability to work well under pressure, prioritize workloads and to meet deadlines.
