As Research Manager, reporting to the Workforce Planning & Insights Manager, you will be responsible for the portfolio of JSC research activities, including planning and implementation, and effectively managing day-to-day research project priorities to ensure deliverables are met. This collaborative leadership role involves leading researchers in the collection and analysis of data for project activities specifically and the annual Workforce Plan generally. This role will suit an all-rounder with knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, who has excellent writing skills to lead the drafting of project reports to publishable standards. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to following:
- Research activity portfolio leadership
- Lead research activities to ensure consistency with organisational strategies.
- Build and design the best approach to research projects (interviews/surveys)
- Build and maintain research activity stakeholder relationships
- People Management - actively lead staff by establishing clear job expectations and providing regular feedback and coaching
- Knowledge management and data coordination
- Workforce Plan support
- Strategic project proposal development support
