What you'll be doing
The Blacktown Oncology Clinical Trials Unit is responsible for clinical drug trials and investigator-initiated Cancer research studies. It is a rapidly expanding unit.
Pathology demands in Clinical Trials have dramatically increased over the past few years. Patients are often required to supply pathology samples for a range of research testing including pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics at various time points during their treatment, whilst on a clinical trial.
Efficient collection ensures protocol compliance with Pathology collection time points and reduce protocol violations. This also improves patient care and treatment flow.
People with disabilities who meet the selection criteria are encouraged to apply; and where required, WSLHD will implement reasonable adjustment consistent with industry standard.
