AddressSmith & Co are currently seeking a Pump Fitter Service Technician for a full time position with an Australia Wide Process Pump and Compressor engineering company.
Our client manufacture fully custom engineered and designed skids for installation, as well as carry out pump repairs and service maintenance across Brisbane.
ideally you will have pervious experience as a Pump Fitter/technician undertaking service, repairs, and maintenance, working with process pumps, compressors or similar mechanical components. This is essential as you will be working alone or within a small team, however there will be a degree of training if newer to this field.
Job Details:
- $90K-$100K + Overtime, Allowances, Phone, And Vehicle
- Field Service Position - Travel around the local Brisbane area
- Workshop based in Archerfield
- Carry out a range of service maintenance, upgrades, and installation of process pumps and compressors
- Full Time Permanent Position with opportunity for upskilling and progression

- Stable position with ongoing service and repairs contracts
- Excellent opportunity to experience to work within varied and diverse industry
- Will have a strong technical mindset, ideally with experience in process pumps and compressors within the oil and gas, power, chemical and petrochemical markets.
- Suitably qualified - Mechanical Trade qualification or degree in Process, Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
- Will have a desire to learn about new machines
- Actual work experience with process pumps and compressors will be highly desirable
- Current drivers licence and reliable transport
- Must be open to travel - Generally an inner Brisbane service radius, however some clients may require slightly longer travel
