As a Research Platforms Integration Lead, you will:
- Design and develop technical solutions and system integrations related to library research related systems including: Figshare, Symplectic Elements, Omeka and Open Journal Systems (OJS)
- Participate as required in implementations and upgrades to research related systems including testing and problem solving issues with integrations and dependencies on other systems
- Maintain integrations between relevant library research systems and University enterprise systems as well as bibliometrics platforms such as SciVal, Scopus and Web of Knowledge
- Provide technical solutions and expertise to enhance or automate existing workflows (processing, importing, and exporting data) to reduce manual intervention
- Design solutions to generate complex data and reports across diverse systems through analysis, coding and scripting as well as implementation of new functionalities and utilities
- Provide systems support including integrated or back end solutions as required to facilitate effective creation, ingestion, processing and discovery of digital objects and their associated metadata into University research systems
- A Degree in a relevant discipline, such as Information Technology, Software Engineering or subsequent relevant experience; or
- Extensive experience and specialist knowledge or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields
- Extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Experience as a business consultant or working as a specialist in a business field
