About Us:

UC has curiosity, ambition and inclusiveness at its core. We challenge the status quo through the pursuit of excellence in teaching, learning and research. Our place-based commitment ensures that we visibly serve Canberra’s community and the surrounding region with impact on the nation. The University of Canberra is ranked in the top five universities globally for reducing inequalities (THE Impact Rankings, 2023).

About the Opportunity:

Play a crucial role in driving forward a creative pharmacy implementation initiative within residential aged care facilities where you will collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals who share a passion for achieving outstanding outcomes.

As the Research Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the study team and assuming a leadership position in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the project, while also contributing to the creation of outputs for dissemination.

This multifaceted role encompasses various responsibilities, including participant recruitment, stakeholder communication, coordination of co-design and evaluation workshops, and implementation of Qualtrics surveys. Additionally, you will be providing crucial assistance in quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, report and publication drafting, and the translation of research findings into practical innovations.

To be successful in the role you will have an Honours or Masters in a health-related discipline, demonstrated research and project management expertise, and exceptional communication and stakeholder liaison skills.  Experience in health service, aged care or pharmacy sector is desirable but not essential. You will be motivated to work on an innovative Research Project amongst a uniquely experienced team, nationally recognised for their work.

This role also requires a current unrestricted driver's licence.

Offerings/Benefits/Culture:

The University offers excellent conditions and benefits such as flexible, family-friendly policies, on-site gym, on-site medical services, a supermarket and childcare facilities.

Connected – A Decadal Strategy 2023-2032 sets a goal to be the national sector leader in equity, diversity, inclusion and access, and the ambitious goals of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Strategic Plan are designed to ensure that our Indigenous students and staff flourish in a welcoming and culturally safe environment.
