Lancemore Crossley St. is seeking a Reservations/Guest Service Agent to join our amazing Front Office Team, delivering genuine hospitality and a boutique experience to our guests.
Job Overview: As a Reservations/Guest Service Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests. You will be responsible for handling reservations, inquiries, and providing excellent customer service. This position requires a person with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Reservation Management:
- Receive and process reservations via phone, email, and online platforms.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date reservation records.
- Assist guests with inquiries and provide information about room availability, rates, and packages.
Guest Services:
- Welcome guests warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
Communication:
- Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and other departments.
- Handle incoming calls and respond to emails in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a cohesive and positive guest experience.
Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate and organised records of reservations and guest interactions.
- Assist in preparing reports related to reservations and occupancy.
ABOUT YOU:
- Have a desire to genuinely help people.
- You have a warm, personable yet professional disposition.
- Deliver exceptional guest service and get a kick out of helping, problem-solving and being accountable for your workload.
- Success in a similar role preferred but not essential, we are employing on attitude not just experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with reservation systems and hotel management software is a plus.
- Customer-centric mindset with a commitment to providing outstanding service.
- Barista/bar experience would be preferred but not essential.
- Valid RSA.
