Exciting opportunity to join our small team.
As Reservations Agent you will manage bookings for the hotel from sourcing new business, converting leads/bookings, and being the dedicated liaison between customer and the Hotel. You will maximise short and long term performance in line with the annual business and strategic sales and marketing revenue plan as well as the assisting the front office team when required.
You will be joining EVT; Australia's premier entertainment, ventures and travel company. EVT's Hotel's Division operates Rydges Hotels & Resorts, QT Hotels & Resorts, Atura Hotels, Independent Collection, Lylo as well as the premier Australian Ski Resort township of Thredbo Alpine Resort. Responsibilities
- Must be available/flexible to work any days Monday - Friday.
- Working knowledge of Hotel PMS (Opera), Microsoft Office.
- Opera PMS experience is highly regarded.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Attention to detail critical.
- Maintain your self appearance in accordance with the hotel’s grooming standards.
- Maintain a harmonious relationship with other members of the service team.
- Acquire a full knowledge of the hotel’s service policies and procedures.
- Maintain superior levels of service to hotel guests.
- Adhere to all established cashiering policies and procedures.
- Ensure the protection and maintenance of all operating equipment.
- Give assistance to other departments when required and particularly Front Office.
- Perform any other duties as directed by supervisor / manager.
