The job would suit junior medical staff interested in gaining imaging experience in a busy, research oriented Nuclear Medicine and PET department.
The SRMO would be responsible for assessing and taking clinical histories (written documentation of) on patients presenting for a wide variety of Nuclear medicine and PET imaging scans. Aiding in the timely management of out and in patients in the nuclear medicine staff and facilitating their journey through the department. Liaising with radiation science staff regarding appropriate scans, and reviewing the scans with the medical staff specialists.
Attendance at appropriate MDT, journal club and involvement in investigator led research within the department would be encouraged. This position requires a Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the Office of the Children's Guardian.
