This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time Appointments for 12 months with the possibility of extension(s).
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 15/10/2024.
Must be available to commence on 13 January 2025 or earlier.
Position Profile:
We are seeking to appoint suitably experienced Resident Medical Officers to our Emergency Department for a 12 month period. It is intended that this will assist in developing skills in Emergency Medicine in a focussed manner for doctors at Resident Medical Officer level. There is the opportunity to specifically develop skills in trauma care, bedside ultrasound and in clinical toxicology. In this role you will provide a high-quality clinical service to all hospital patients under the supervision of Clinical Supervisors including Consultants and Registrars within a multidisciplinary team. You will also be required to work within your ability and according to the hospital’s core values of Commitment, Accountability, Respect and Excellence. In this role you will also expand your knowledge and skills through the available learning opportunities.

Home to the State Major Adult Trauma Service, RPH offers tertiary-level Emergency Medicine, mental health, complex and elective surgical care, and specialist medical services.
