We have an exciting and rare opportunity for a leader of care to join our organisation as a Residential Care Manager at our McNamara Lodge Residential Aged Care home in Mandurah.

Join RAAFA in this exciting role as a Residential Aged Care Manager at our McNamara Lodge in Meadow Springs. The beautiful 96-bed Residential Care Centre is at the heart of our vibrant Meadow Springs Retirement Village and offers permanent and respite care.
In this role, you will be required to deliver our person-centered care philosophy, R.E.A.L Care, that aims to deliver a quality of care and a quality of life. We are seeking a passionate person-centered leader who understands how a sustainable business model will deliver positive outcomes for the 96 residents living in our home.

In this role, you will be required to:
- Lead and manage the team of residential care staff to achieve optimum service delivery and ensure quality person-centered services are provided across high care and dementia areas in a timely, efficient, effective and consistent manner and in accordance with the Aged Care Standards and RAAFA policies and procedures.
- Be accountable for monitoring performance and supporting the site in ensuring staffing occupancy and care funding targets are achieved.
- At all-times reflect the values of the organisation.
- Ensure consistent and high quality care and services are delivered through the current care models
- Work in partnership with the General Manager Residential Care to ensure all aspects of the budget are monitored.
- Continue to maintain relationships and network with external parties to promote RAAFA services and identify opportunities for growth.
- Respond to and ensure complaints are handled in a professional, timely and effective manner to ensure a satisfactory resolution.
- Contribute to operational plans that align with RAAFA’s strategic objectives as required.
Who are we looking for?
A significantly experienced leader who has a great record of high performance and people management. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for working within Aged Care, and a strong commitment to providing quality services to older Australians in residential care. You will have highly developed leadership and communication skills, including an ability to converse with people from all walks of life and an ability to bring people along on the journey with you. You will be calm and considered under pressure and have strong organisational and time management skills. However, most importantly you will have the leadership capability to development and maintain a culture of care and support throughout the residential care home.
Selection Criteria:
- Leadership and management experience in the Aged Care or health industry is essential.
- Hold a current AHPRA registration (preferred).
- Enjoy building positive relationships with residents, their families and staff.
- Possess excellent clinical knowledge and skills.
- A current driver’s license.
- A satisfactory Bankruptcy Check is required at the point of employment and three years thereafter.
