Job description

Are you an experienced sales professional with a proven track record in managing Key Accounts within the construction industry? We are seeking a dynamic Residential Builder Key Account Manager to join our team in Victoria and lead our well-established territory.

About Us: We are a market leader in the building products sector, offering an unparalleled range of products. Our portfolio includes several notable Key Accounts, and we pride ourselves on maintaining long-standing relationships with major builders across the region.

The Role: As our Residential Builder Key Account Manager, you will maintain and expand relationships with our Key Accounts, including several high-profile clients. You will be taking over from a long-standing employee, stepping into a well-established territory with a solid foundation for success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and nurture relationships with major  T1 and T2 builders to ensure continued business and satisfaction.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with  Tier 3 builders and boutique builders.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions from our diverse product range
  • Drive sales strategies and initiatives to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Provide exceptional service and support to all accounts, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.

About You:

  • Solid experience working with major builders and managing Key Accounts in the construction or related industries.
  • Open to candidates with a background in various product areas such as bathrooms, kitchens, appliances, flooring tiles, HVAC, windows and doors, joinery, etc.
  • Proven track record of new business development, with the ability to identify and seize opportunities for growth.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a focus on achieving sales targets.
