About the role
Ideally located on the Gold Coast or in the Northern Rivers NSW region, you will be based out of our head office in Chinderah, NSW.
The role will work closely with the Sales team during the sales and design process. You will provide an amazing customer experience, produce a really special home to meet the client's needs in line with the company ethos of passive and sustainable design. You are in charge of delivering a timely and systematic design process for all new homes.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Reporting to the Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Work autonomously within a team environment.
- Ensure high quality unique designs whilst meeting program deadlines.
- Working with the team to ensure compliance with relevant lot constraints and building codes.
- Interpretation of a client's design brief and the production of electronic drawings in Revit and sketch up.
- Your electronic design skills will be utilised to produce new residential projects such as homes, dual occupancies.
- Working/managing on multiple projects daily
- Communicating with clients
- Strong passion for Passive sustainable design.
Skills and experience
- A relevant qualification in Residential Drafting both Queensland and NSW preferred.
- 2 years relevant experience in designing homes for custom builders.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and design requirements for compliance.
- Good knowledge base to produce high detailed Working Drawings.
- Self-motivated and driven to produce the required outcomes.
- Strong Revit skills and also skilled in Sketchup
- Well organised and driven to exceed expectations.
- A proven ability to work within a team.
- Keen to be a part of a young and energetic industry leading Sustainable Builder
- Clear and concise communicator
- Hold a driver’s licence and reliable vehicle to assist with necessary site visits and external meetings.
