We are seeking a creative Interior Designer with the following education and experience:
- A degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
- 3 + years’ post-graduate interior design experience.
- A digital portfolio of projects worked on and completed. It must include a full documentation set.
- Confident in Material Selections and Presentation Boards.
- Thorough ability to deliver detailed professional design documentation using AutoCAD.

The Role
We are currently seeking an Interior Designer with a focus on excellence in documentation and selections. As an Interior Designer, you will play a crucial role in our team, assisting in the delivery of projects. You will excel at documenting and have a passion for creating beauty, an eye for detail and the inherent ability to create balance within material selections.
You will be working closely with a passionate, creative, and driven design team who work closely with the reno team to ensure the successful delivery of every project.
Key responsibilities:
- Selections: Sourcing, consolidation, and presentation of materials for project boards.
- Documenting:
- Documentation (creation of working drawings, specification schedules & management of outsourced final 3D renders)
- Project Admin (emails, phone calls, meeting notes, pricing overviews)
- Budget Alignment: Ensuring that the interiors created align with the project budget.
- Relationship Management: Nurturing positive relationships is a cornerstone of our success. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will play a pivotal role in fostering strong bonds with both clients and our internal team, ensuring a harmonious working environment.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of post-graduate experience in interior design
- Experience as a mid-tier Interior Designer on similar-sized projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Excel is essential, other software considered advantageous – Revit & Adobe Suite.
- Currently residing in Perth, WA
- A degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
Salary Description:
Ability to work alone on most tasks with limited supervision from Senior designers. Good liaison skills with the ability to run aspects of meetings. Proficient in AutoCAD with the ability to fully document a project under guidance.
$35 - 40ph
