Associate Interior Designer

With an increase in projects within the Perth area and collaborating with other studios across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, our client is excited to enter their next growth phase. We are looking to hire a Senior Professional to join their team who spans concept and client leadership along with overall delivery and team management skills.

Our client is looking for an experienced associate level INTERIOR DESIGNER with experience in team management across all stages of design. This dynamic role will be both team and client focused, so ability to manage expectations both internally and externally to create and maintain strong relations is a must. Daily duties include:

• Client and contractor management to maintain positive relationships
• Liaison between multiple offices
• Team management and coordination
• Technical oversight of projects from conception to completion, ensuring consistent levels of quality and adherence to client brief
• Selection of suppliers and contractors
• Overseeing project progress and ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.

We are looking for applicants with strong managerial and communication skills who bring strong relationships within the Perth market. the successful applicant will work closely with the National Design Director to establish overall design direction and establish themselves as the leader for interiors in the Perth market. Ideally you will have:

• Excellent professional communication
• 8+ years experience
• Strong organisational and coordinative skills
• Connection and knowledge of local suppliers
• Prior project experience in residential, hospitality, retail or workplace
• Proficiency in ArchiCAD and Sketchup
• All-round project knowledge
