Position overview
The Australian National University (ANU) provides accommodation for nearly 6,500 domestic and international students who call our beautiful campus their home. Each Residence offers high quality facilities and a unique lifestyle, culture and ethos. The ANU Residential Experience Division is notable for its quality, variety, and support of students' academic, leadership and personal development.
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organised individual to join our team as a Residential Experience Division Project Officer. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the effective and efficient operation of accommodation service at ANU, with a specific focus on project management, service improvement, governance support, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide project management and administration support to ensure compliance with ANU obligations in the PBSA Agreement and PBSA Hard Facilities Management responsibilities.
- Ensure the delivery of a high-quality service to all ANU Halls, Lodges, and Graduate House.
- Manage summer conference bookings within the Residential Experience Division, including liaising with relevant internal and external stakeholders and promptly responding to inquiries.
- Oversee and manage a small team of casual staff during conference periods.
The successful applicant will be able to work confidently in a complex environment, build a collective understanding of service development imperatives and engage with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
