About the Position: As a Residential Youth Worker, you will have the unique opportunity to work with some of the strongest and most wonderful young individuals who have experienced trauma and neglect in out-of-home care under the Guardianship of the Chief Executive, Department for Child Protection (DCP). Your role will be pivotal in creating a positive impact by teaching practical and social skills, acting as a role model, and preparing them for adulthood. About You: We are searching for a highly passionate and genuine individual who: ✅ Holds a certificate IV in Youth Work, Child, Youth and Family Intervention, Community Services, or equivalent (or working towards) ✅ Has a minimum of 6 months experience in Residential Youth Services ✅ Demonstrated experience in supporting extreme challenging behaviours ✅ Holds an Australian Drivers Licence (SA), P2 or higher ✅ Possesses a Working With Children Check ✅ Can provide availability to work across AM/PM/Active night shifts ✅ Has or is willing to obtain the following certifications: Child Safe Environments (Through Their Eyes) Certificate Child Car Restraints Certificate Safe Infant Training Certificate Current suitable Psychological Assessment, or willing to obtain Current First Aid & CPR certificate Why Join Us?
