Title: Resilience and Climate Change Officer, Temporary - Full-time Role for six months, 35 hours per week
Salary Range: $86867.36 to $100954.29 per annum + super (subject to skills and experience)

Environment and Climate Change
The Environment & Climate Change Group manages complex environmental, sustainability and engineering programs and projects to achieve quality outcomes for the residents and environment of the Northern Beaches.
The Environment, Resilience and Climate Change Team delivers strategic and operational management of corporate sustainability programs across the Northern Beaches. The team drives Climate Change adaptation and mitigation measures, provides significant business system support, and facilitates improvement initiatives across the Environment and Climate Change Business Unit.

Our opportunity:
The key focus areas of this role include:
1) Development and implementation of key policies to guide Resilience and Climate Change across Council.
2) Development of Council’s Climate Change risk assessment, internal engagement and embedding into Councils risk management framework.
3) Delivery of strategic and operational projects relevant to the role.
