About the Role
Due to the continued growth of the business and a busy year ahead, we are seeking expressions of interest from experienced High Pressure Water Blasting Technicians that are at an Operator level to join our team for upcoming projects across various sites within the Oil & Gas industry. Point of Hire Melbourne, Victoria with occasional FIFO travel.
Duties will include but not limited to
- Manual High Pressure Water Blasting, including gun works.
- Mechanical High Pressure Water Blasting, including 2,3 and 5 lance TLE machines plus other remote operated equipment.
- Tank Head cleaning.
- High Pressure Water Cold Cutting.
- Wash pad Water Blasting, including gun work and use of mechanical operated equipment
- Insitu cleaning, including exchangers and inside confined spaces.
- Strong commitment to Work Health and Safety including participating in safety documentation requirements.
- Ability to work within a team environment while capable of working unsupervised.
- Working within other crews and helping wherever the team requires.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent Communication skills.
Requirements & Experience Needed
- MSMSS00018 – Operate High Pressure Water Jetting System – Operator ticket (essential)
- Ability to work shift work (Day/Night/Weekends).
- Construction Induction (White Card).
- Working at Heights certificate (within 2 years - essential).
- Confined Space Entry certificate (within 2 years - essential).
- Gas Test Atmosphere certificate (within 2 years – essential)
- Breathing Apparatus certificate (Highly desirable).
- Current Driver’s License (HR/HC/MC - highly desirable).
- High Risk Work License – LF/Dogman/Rigger (advantageous).
- Full Australian work rights.
