Role Description
Bendigo Hospital is a regional centre providing both inpatient and outpatient specialist respiratory services for the Loddon Mallee Region. This position is integral to the continuing development of the Lung Function Laboratory and its services, which is currently in the process of working towards TSANZ Accreditation. The position incorporates both clinical and managerial responsibilities, including the efficient and accurate performance of routine and complex respiratory function tests, stock maintenance and billing, lung function reporting, and staff training and education. You will ensure that all testing meets accreditation standards, and that quality assurance and calibration processes are comprehensively completed. This role requires someone who is resourceful, flexible, enjoys teamwork and has the ability to take the initiative. You will have excellent communication skills and high standards of clinical practice.

The Team
The Clinical Operations Division encompasses acute, allied health, cancer and mental health services. We provide a wide range of general medical, surgical and specialty services including but not limited to; Oncology, Cardiology, Renal, Emergency, Women’s and Children’s, Critical Care, Specialist Clinics, Cancer Clinics and Mental Health Services. Our Allied Health teams provide a diverse range of programs and person centred care in inpatient, outpatient, community, home and residential care settings.
