Located on the beautiful grounds of the University of Western Australia, the University Club of Western Australia is a private members Club offering a casual dining café, fine dining restaurant and busy banqueting department delivering varied events over 16 different spaces.
THE ROLE
We are seeking a permanent part-time experienced Food and Beverage Bar Attendant / Team Leader for our fine dining restaurant. The Club restaurant is open Wednesday – Friday for lunch, and Wednesday – Saturday for dinner. The role offers a minimum of 24 hours per week across both day and evening shifts with varied days/hours/shift lengths. This position would suit someone with experience in a premier dining venue particularly within bar service, with solid wine and cocktail knowledge. As a Team Leader, applicants must be able to support staff across all aspects of service and be instrumental in driving excellence to our members and guests.
THE APPLICANT
- A minimum of two years restaurant experience in a premier or fine dining venue,
- Extensive bar experience with wine and cocktail knowledge,
- Three plate carry,
- Knowledge of sequence of service,
- Current RSA and Food Safety certificates,
- Excellent communicator,
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly manner,
- Immaculate personal presentation standards, and
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Supervisory or Team Leader experience would be advantageous.
