Form of workVictoria Park Bistro invites you to join one of Brisbane's busiest venues performing the integral role of Restaurant Host Supervisor.
About the Role :
Reporting to the Bistro Restaurant Manager, and collaborating closely with our Reservations Officer, your key responsibilities include
- greeting and seating guests
- monitoring and managing restaurant bookings throughout service
- optimising seating capacity
- engaging with guests so as to ensure a smooth dining experience
- receiving and processing online and phone reservations
- hands on food and beverage service providing leadership to floor staff team members
- competently operating POS system and handling and reconciling cash
Your Skills and Experience:
- passion for delivering an exceptional dining experience
- at least 12months experience as a Restaurant Host in a fast-paced environment
- at least 12months experience as a restaurant supervisor in a high volume service environment
- experience in restaurant online reservations management systems, with experience in Seven Rooms a clear advantage
- ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- thrive on guest engagement
- reliably available for a variety of shifts within Bistro operating hours across 7 days, especially week-ends.
