Are you passionate about Indian cuisine and providing exceptional dining experiences? We're looking for a talented Restaurant Manager to lead our vibrant establishment located in Crow’s Nest, NSW. Role: Full time
Salary Range: $60,000 to $80,000 per annum plus superannuation
Location: Crow’s Nest, NSW 2065
Responsibilities:
· Oversee and control day-to-day restaurant operations
· Coordinate for inventory management, pricing of items and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Analysing the weekly sales & inventory report to improve the business.
· Collaborate with the chef to develop innovative and authentic Indian dishes.
· Manage budgets, expenses, and revenue targets to achieve profitability goals.
· Work closely with the team to develop and execute marketing strategies and promotional campaigns.
· Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the availability of high-quality ingredients and supplies at competitive prices.
· Monitor feedback and reviews to continuously improve service quality.
· Hire, train, schedule, and supervise performance of staff members.
· Provide attentive service and addressing any concerns or special requests promptly.
· Inspire and lead a diverse team of kitchen staff, servers, and front-of-house personnel.
· Ensuring compliance with all relevant licensing and permit requirements
· Oversee the implementation and utilization of technology solutions such as point-of-sale systems, reservation platforms, and online ordering systems.
· Staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and innovations through professional development opportunities
Qualifications, Experience and Skills requirements:
Skills & Requirements:
· Minimum Diploma of Hospitality/Hospitality Management/Business Management level qualification or in a related field. In the absence of formal qualifications, significant commercial experience working in the given role may substitute.
· Previous experience of at least 2 years in Australian hospitality industry and working in a managerial role
· Have experience in a similar high volume dining venue -preferably Indian hotels, or restaurants.
· Knowledge of Indian Cuisine is essential.
· Prepared to work in a fast environment.
· Be Enthusiastic and Proactive
· Good communication skills
· Able to work on flexible hours (night shifts, weekends & weekdays)
