Arana Leagues Club is a premier recreational venue with 175 poker machines, a 250 pax restaurant and a café, four bars, a bottle shop, function rooms and a children's room.
We are seeking applications from experienced Restaurant Managers to lead our team during key service periods. The role is ideally suited to a warm, engaging and dedicated individual who possesses a thorough understanding of FOH catering operations.
Reporting to the Executive Chef and Operations Manager, the successful applicant will ensure the smooth operation of the FOH catering team by:
- Providing leadership to the FOH restaurant team;
- Ensuring that staff maintain high standards of customer service, food safety and venue presentation;
- Resolving patron complaints;
- Making recommendations for improvement within catering operations
The successful applicant will have:
- A minimum of 2 years catering leadership experience in a high-volume environment;
- A thorough understanding of catering operations;
- A passion to continually deliver 5-star customer service;
- Excellent food safety and hygiene practices;
- The ability to resolve customer complaints;
- The ability to supervise staff and delegate duties;
- The ability to monitor staffing levels in relation to trade;
- The ability to identify areas of opportunity and implement action plans;
- The ability to work in a team environment;
- Current RSA or willingness to obtain;
- A stable work history and professional presentation.
We value work/life balance and are offering a 9-day fortnight. However, the ability to work a roster which includes days, nights, weekends and public holidays is essential.
