DSH Employment Services Pty Ltd, hiring for the iconic DOC Mozzarella and Pizza Bar in Surry Hills, Sydney, a renown and reputable Italian restaurant, is seeking a passionate Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. The restaurant is a vibrant hospitality focused venue delivering authentic Italian inspired food and wine.
Broadly, your role will include:
- Hiring, training, supervising all front of house employees
- Create and maintain weekly rosters for Front of House staff and managing budgets
- Leading the team as the face of the business, serving as a lead for handling customer enquiries and complaints, taking reservations, greeting, and advising customers
- Management of Daily Takings Reports, ensuring accuracy and profitability across all shifts and staff members
- Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines
The ideal candidate must have:
- A relevant Diploma of Hospitality or Business, plus at least two years’ experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of Italian food and wine
- Management and leaderships skill
- Demonstrated customer focus
