Job DescriptionYou will be leading the operations team at Ora to deliver an excellent experience to each and every guest. You will create a fun and engaging environment, drive key deliverables, recruit and develop talent. You will have autonomy to drive the success of Ora and put your own stamp on it. This role is perfect for a hospitality professional who is ready to take on the challenge of a new venue with exponential possibilities.
- Recruit, retain, and develop top talent to ensure a high-performing team.
- Oversee and deliver financial performance targets, including COGS, wages, sales, and operating expenses.
- Work closely with key teams such as People Experience, Marketing, and Finance to align on goals and drive success.
- Ensure an outstanding guest experience by driving consistency and innovation in service delivery.
- Drive the performance of the management team and contribute to the overall strategy of the business.
- Ensure all compliance obligations are met, including liquor licensing, food safety, and health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a well-presented and functional venue at all times.
Qualifications- At least 3 years experience at a high volume restaurant in a similar role
- Proven experience in talent management and team development.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in managing COGS, wages, sales, and operational expenses.
- Excellent collaboration skills with a track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience.
- Leadership experience with a focus on driving team performance and business strategy.
- Thorough understanding of compliance requirements related to liquor licensing, food safety, and health and safety.
- Ability to maintain a high standard of venue presentation and functionality.
