We are seeking for a passionate and enthusiastic Front ofHouse Manager/ Restaurant Manager at our Pennant Hills shop to play a crucialrole in maintaining the operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate willbring strong leadership and a deep understanding of how to manage a restaurantto provide the best customer service.
As the Front House Manager at OKAMI Pennant Hills, youwill be the heart of our restaurant, serving customers with your passion forauthentic Japanese cuisine. Your role is about creating an authentic diningexperience that will leave our guests satisfied and delighted.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
-Atleast a Diploma or high qualification in a relevant field; or
-Atleast 3 years of practical working experience in a highly similar position in aJapanese cuisine setting
-Ableto prioritise tasks and possess time-management abilities
-Team-playerwith strong communicational and interpersonal skills
-Excellentleadership skills and responsibility
About the role
As our Front of House Manager, you will be workingfull-time, a week (38 hours) and you will be responsible for the following:
-Discussingabout menu ideas and customer preferences with Chefs;
-Takingnormal reservations and coordinating any special events at the restaurant;
-Managingrestaurant budget, stock control and overseeing all restaurant financialactivity;
-Ensuringthat the restaurant is complying with all work, health and safety standards andrelevant legislation;
-Maintaincustomer satisfaction with service, resolving disputes with/ between customersand handling any other matters that disturb ordinary food service;
-Hiringand training staff members to learn about company policy, rules, and standards;
-Conductingdaily and weekly safety inspection of restaurant premises;
-Takingcontrol of any restaurant operations related matters when necessary andassisting waiting staff.
Remuneration
For this role, we are offering a salary of $73,000 - $ 81,000 and superannuation.
