Lynch and Wallace Pty Ltd t/a Rosie Campbells is located in the heart of Surry hills, one block away from iconic Oxford Street. A celebrated Caribbean oasis diner & rum bar. The island connection runs deep at Rosie’s through our modern approach to classic Jamaican cooking, friendly and cool-as-can-be staff, and vibrant and colourful atmosphere.
With 3 nights of live entertainment a week, the venue is bustling with energy and good vibes. We have an iconic night of Live Reggae every week!
The Opportunity – Full Time & Permanent
We are looking for a full time venue manager lead the energy team. Overseeing day to day operations at the venue, reporting directly to the owner, you will be responsible for managing the business and all the staff.
As a venue which takes pride in its excellent customer service & high quality of product, we are looking for a manager to uphold our standards.
The candidate we are looking for will;
· Have prior management experience in a similar style’d venue. Previous Venue management isn’t necessary but preferred.
· Relevant Tertiary Qualification or equivalent industry experience
· Excellent Customer Service Skills
· Current RSA
· Team management skills and ability to develop new staff
· Ability to drive towards company objectives and goals
· Have a basic understanding of cost management
· Able to handle high pressure situations such as conflict management.
Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities
· Manage overall operations of venue day to day, opening, closing, cleaning and monetary management.
· Reporting weekly on sales.
· Hiring and developing new staff, develop adequate training programs
· Stock control, stocktake & reporting on costs of goods sold.
· Building partnerships with suppliers of the venue, negotiating deals.
· Responsible for managing staff day to day, rostering and supervision
· Maintain operating budgets in accordance with owners KPI’s and rectifying issues.
· Developing new menu’s, new sku’s and researching products.
· Ensure compliance on legal requirements.
· Maintain a safe working environment

Job type – Permanent, full time
Hours – 38 hours per week
Salary: Minimum $90,000 plus superannuation
Work Authorisation: Permitted to work unrestricted in Australia
