About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our passionate team on a Full Time basis in Ripples Café at our Tasman Holiday Parks - North Star resort. Located in beautiful Tweed Rivers, this is a unique position, with no late nights and a repeat customer base with our wonderful holiday guests.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily running of the restaurant
- Efficiently manage rostering, recruitment, and inventory
- Implement and enforce high standards for service quality, cleanliness and food safety per company policies and regulations
- Strong business acumen focused on KPI performance and profitability
- The ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback and complaints in a professional and timely manner, striving to resolve issues
- Create memorable experiences for our guests by maintaining a warm and friendly ‘can do’ attitude
What You'll Bring to the Team
- A minimum 5 years’ experience managing a café or similar role is essential with knowledge in driving financial returns
- Current NSW RSA and drivers licence
- Experience with IdealPOS preferred
- High standards and an excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, along with conflict resolution skills
- Friendly customer service skills and a can-do attitude
- A flexible approach to work
- Fit and active
- Good appreciation and respect of workplace safety
- Passionate about leading a team and achieving KPI’s
This is a Full Time role where availability during peak holiday times, evenings and weekends is required.
