Restaurant Manager – Full Time Salary
We are currently seeking an experienced and self-motivated Restaurant Manager to lead our busy restaurant team at the Sanno Marracoonda Perth Airport Hotel. Our accommodation is located near the Perth Airport, just 20 minutes from the CBD and a short stroll from the Swan River.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, this hands on role will be responsible for coordinating and managing the day to day restaurant and bar service in the Legian Restaurant which is open 7 days for breakfast and dinner service.
The key responsibilities will include:
- Manage, facilitate and drive the service of food and beverage within the restaurant and bar whilst minimizing costs;
- Maintain strong team moral and effective training procedures;
- Work closely with the kitchen and management to achieve high quality service, presentation and delivery to all customers;
- Assist in the preparation of monthly restaurant and bar reports, commenting on key performance indicators and action taken to keep on target;
- Prepare weekly and monthly forecasts for restaurant and bar;
- Prepare and manage weekly rosters, ensuring wage cost is controlled;
- Ensure cleaning and maintenance of outlets, and work areas; and
- Ensure all team members act as ambassadors for the hotel.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A can-do, responsible, and flexible approach to work;
- Excellent communication skills;
- A friendly customer service demeanour;
- Prior experience in leading a Food & Beverage team in a bar, restaurant or hotel setting;
- An ability to thrive under pressure and work as a team in a high paced environment;
- A great sense of style and immaculate presentation and grooming;
- Previous experience with H&L point of sale desirable;
- Attainment of the necessary Approved Manager Licence; and
- A strong appreciation of workplace safety.
This is a full time salaried role, working a spread of shifts over a 7 day roster; including week days, weekends, nights and public holidays.
