Restaurant Manager.
This is a critical role for Dan Dan in which you will work closely with the owner to execute the goal of creating a destination restaurant - our restaurant’s point of difference is service focused and our managers are integral in filtering this message down to our service staff. With 150+ seats
You will be instrumental in the running of the venue operations, staff management and reporting directly to the Director and owners
General Requirements:
- Australian resident
- Minimum of two years managerial experience in a high volume venue
- Good English verbal skills
- Very good personal grooming standards
- Experience essential, preferred working knowledge of liquor
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, use common sense and work as a team player
- Excellent attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willing to both learn, share, and participate
- Love of food and providing fantastic experiences for the customer!
- Hours can vary and can include weekend and holiday work
- All employees will be required to undergo a police check
Essential Requirements:
- Fluent English, spoken and written
- Current NSW RSA Certificate
- Well presented
- Customer focused & proven customer service experience
- Extensive food and wine knowledge
- Understanding of hospitality cost control measures
- Great memory for faces
- Comfortable in all aspects of reporting of daily operations and financials
- Strong team building and delegation skill
- Formal hospitality studies completed
- Formal wine studies completed
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with Quandoo or other online reservation platform
- Formal hospitality studies completed
Tasks include:
- Continuous training and development to ensure current knowledge
- Reporting directly to the restaurant owners
- Supervise and train FOH staff
- Cost control to budget expectations
