Restaurant Manager

Operating from January 2004, Voyage Kitchen always provides the best cooked and fresh food, with warm coffee and efficient service. We only serve the freshest and choicest food from selected suppliers by the owners Barbara Hacker and Michael Campion. Therefore, we also have high expectation and standard for our teammates.
Our restaurant is looking for a new employee to be on board with us as following:
Position: Restaurant manager
Job types: Permanent full-time
Location: 185 Challenger Parade, City Beach WA 6015
Salary: $70,000/year (plus superannuation)
Start date: as soon as possible
Main Responsibilities:

• Passion for hospitality, food, and retail.
• Recruiting, training, and overseeing staff to maintain a high standard of customer service.
• Collaborating with cooks or chefs to arrange menus.
• Handling customer reservations and assisting in food and beverage service.
• Ensuring food is prepared and cooked according to the company's specifications, while controlling ingredient quality and quantity.
• Managing procurement of supplies and ingredients and maintaining stock records.
• Supervising the business's financial aspects, including expenses, income, budgeting, and staff scheduling.
• Overseeing financial matters such as equity and liabilities, including follow-ups on outstanding payments from customers or delivery services.
• Monitoring and addressing customer reviews to enhance quality.
• Coordinating food and beverage events, promotions, and advertising.
• Enforcing compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Ensuring the proper functioning of equipment, tools, machinery, and properties.
• Developing, marketing, and executing promotional campaigns, as well as responding to customer questionnaires through various channels, including social media, email, and phone calls.

Other requirements are:
1. Work Eligibility: Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours (Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident preferred)
2. Qualifications: at least a bachelor's degree in hospitality management
3. Previous experience: At least 2 years working as a hospitality manager
4. Language: Conversant in English and one more language (Vietnamese preferable)
