The Lake Karrinyup Country Club, Western Australia's premier golf club seeks energetic, reliable experienced Food and Beverage manager to join our friendly team. At least 3 years of experience is essential, and the successful candidate will be a strong leader that is willing to work in a team environment, to consistently provide professional and efficient service to Members and guests throughout all Food and Beverage outlets in the clubhouse, while maintaining the highest standards achievable. This position demands a flexible attitude towards hours, and weekend/evening work is essential.
Duties
- Coordinating the daily operation of the restaurant during schedule shifts
- To provide an efficient, friendly and exceptional standard of service for members and guests.
- Maintain a high standard of grooming and appearance as expected by the Club.
- Train all staff to the appropriate level required to perform their tasks to a level of excellence in accordance with club’s services and standards
- Supervise floor staff to ensure high standard service provided and getting feedback on Food and quality service
- Plan and managing events, private parties and functions
- Has a thorough knowledge of the food menus, drinks list, wine list and the range of drinks and brands available at the Club and understand the description of food items on the club’s menus.
- Liaises with the kitchen, bar, events and golf management in operational matters to ensure the operation runs smoothly.
- Stock control to unsure that all material needed in the floor is available and place orders with suppliers
- Accurately recording stock movements through the pos, charging members accounts, and collecting cash payments.
- Assure set up and break down service areas and stations according to requirements and ensures these areas are clean and tidy.
- To balance the till at the end of each day’s operations – Daily cash reconciliation and perform all necessary procedures to ensure full lock up of building.
- Observe workplace hygiene, occupational health and safety, and security procedures.
- Ensure all policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines are carefully adhered to.
- Assist in all other ad-hoc duties to ensure the smooth running of restaurant operations
- RSA and Liquor licensing certificate
