We are SOUL Dining, Sydney’s one and only hatted Korean restaurant located at Wynyard. We are currently looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead our passionate and highly efficient team.
Working closely with the directors, the right candidate will take full ownership of the FOH operations and coordinate the restaurant’s overall operations together with the head chef and the head sommelier. This is your chance to make your mark and learn all aspects of the business as it enters its most exciting period.
This job will require you to :
- Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
- Organize and supervise shifts
- Hire, train and inspire FOH staff
- Achieve sales targets and suggest ways to improve
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
- Control operational costs and identify measures to cut costs
- Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual basis
Essential Requirements:
- Excellent customer service
- Great leadership skills, lead by example
- Extensive knowledge of food and wine
- Be proactive and hands-on
- Very good personal grooming standards
- Love what you do
- Fluent English, spoken and written
- Current NSW RSA Certificate
- Australian working rights but sponsorship later down the line can be discussed
- 2 years experience in a similar role
Preferred Requirements:
- Knowledge of Korean cuisine and culture
- Formal wine studies completed
