RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR – COMFORT RESORT WATERS EDGE
Our stunning Resort situated in the heart of Port Macquarie, is now looking for a Restaurant Supervisor who is highly motivated and has a strong understanding of service and general operations. You are a professional who can work with little supervision in supporting the Management with daily operations and closing the venue.
The Role:
You will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Restaurant and Bar, with tasks including but not limited to:
- Welcome guests and liaise with the nominated contact.
- Be hands on running the floor and be the face of the venue.
- Manage the Restaurant from set up, to execution and break down.
- Setup and pack down tasks as required.
- Liaise with our Assistant Manager to follow prepared Running Sheets and Event Orders.
- Delivering a high level of professional customer service.
- Ensuring all aspects of the Restaurant & Bar runs smoothly.
- Physically fit and capable of moving furniture & stock daily, as each event requires.
We are searching for an individual who:
- Has experience with running Restaurant, Bars within hospitality Industry.
- Has a keen eye for attention to detail.
- Demonstrates the ability to multi task in a fast paced work environment.
- Is comfortable in a service environment and has exceptional customer service and guest relations.
- The ability to lead a team and be hands on with supervisory skills.
- Propose ideas to improve the service and presentation of the venues.
- The ability to use or learn a Point-of-Sale system.
- Excellent communication skills, time management and dedication.
- Immaculate grooming and presentation.
- Flexibility with hours – you will be required to work nights and weekends.
- RSA certificate
- Driver’s License
- Has a friendly personality with ambition to succeed and a passion for the hospitality industry.
- A proactive ‘can do’ attitude!
- Is enthusiastic and reliable with a professional work ethic.
- Ideally this position would suit a person experienced in running restaurants and Bars.
