Restoration Review Technician

In this exciting career opportunity, you will provide technical and cost validation of Restorer's reports, scope of works and quotes including specialist reports to assist Claims Management teams, Loss Adjusting and Repair Solutions. You will achieve the most cost effective, compliant, timely and accurate review of scopes of work and supplier quotations.

What are my accountabilities?

  • Timely and accurate review of scopes of work and supplier quotations
  • Minimising claims cost by effectively reviewing building cost and negotiating acceptable outcomes with suppliers
  • Providing customer service to all parties with an interest in the job
  • Compliance to client and internal claim handling requirements and timeframes
  • Completing repair audits - physical and virtual

About you :
  • Sound knowledge of restoration best practices
  • Minimum 5 years of restoration industry experience
  • IICRC WRT (Water Restoration Technician) Certification
  • Sound understanding of current market rates
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to convey restoration technical matters to laypersons
  • Sound knowledge of the insurance industry (claims lifecycle) including the legislative framework, applicable codes and products highly desirable
  • Sound knowledge of domestic building practices and associated building cost is not essential but desirable
