- $60,000 - $65,000 dependant on experience + super + company van + overtime
Our client is a water damage restoration specialist in Adelaide. Their team of specialists work quickly and efficiently to remove water, assess the damage, and restore properties. With an influx of jobs coming through they are looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join the team. This position is for someone who is all about teamwork and understands the importance of working and supporting a team. Clientele ranges from residential to commercial and corporate. To be successful in this role, you must be switched on, a fast learner and have excellent attention to detail. Reporting to the Director and Office Manager, you will provide restoration services to clients whose properties have been damaged by water.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Be available to work after hours and weekends on a rotating roster for emergency call-outs
- Conducting inspections & assessments
- Drying water-damaged properties
- Collecting information for written reports
- Cleaning and re-laying carpets.
- Perform all areas of mitigation & restoration works as required, including equipment installation & monitoring
- Liaise with internal office staff & external clients
- Prepare & present damage, inspection & inventory list reports for insurers
- Complete all necessary job documentation, including electronic reporting
- Travel around Adelaide (work vehicle provided)
Requirements for this position include:
- Must have flexibility to work 'on call' for 1 week out of the month
- Experience in assisting trades or similar field.
- Previous customer service experience
- Able to handle manual labour
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently & as part of a team
- Drivers licence
- National Police check (or willing to obtain)
- Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
- Trade experience or experience in a similar role is not necessary but highly regarded
- White Card, IICRC qualification or trade qualification is not necessary but highly regarded
