Restofix Services is a Restoration Company that provides comprehensive restoration services to both insurance and non-insurance Clients. We provide restoration services to residential and commercial properties after flood, fire, water, mould, and storm damage has occurred to buildings and contents. Restofix Services works along- side our Sister Company WA Insurance Builders who provide building repairs to Insurers.
As a result of our rapid growth, we are looking for a Restoration Trade All Rounder to join our Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow with a Company that has a leading edge in the Insurance Industry within WA.
The Role:
The successful applicant will be required to work in a diverse role that provides structural and contents restoration services to damaged properties ranging from small to large loss. The role will be a mix between working autonomously and in a team.
Responsibilities:
- Structural fire cleaning
- Mould cleaning
- Minor demolition works - ie. Removal of cabinetry, ceiling removal, flooring removal - wood, carpet, laminate, tiles.
- Removal of water /soot/ mould affected carpets, underlay and grippers.
- Scraping water damaged white set, removal of gyprock walls, skirtings.
- Attend to water damage, fire damage and mould jobs to provide support with mitigation and restoration works and communicate recommendations.
- Installing specialised drying equipment and monitoring.
- Minor carpentry works including replacement of skirtings, removal of vanity units, removing doors, rehanging doors.
- Liaise with office staff, Clients and Management
The ideal candidate will have:
- A desire to learn new skills with on-the-job training.
- You need to be willing to learn new skills from the science of installing drying equipment to taking moisture readings to properties.
- You have to be physically able to remove doors, scrape plaster off walls, scrape glue off slabs, remove wet carpet or remove wooden floor boards.
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Neatly presented and continue to take pride in your appearance.
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- The availability to work outside of normal working hours and weekends during major storm events.
- This is a physically demanding position that requires someone that can use their own initiative to complete tasks. You must be confident and a fast learner.
- Current drivers' licence.
- Police Clearance.
We will provide:
- Onsite training
- All equipment or tools you need to perform your tasks
- The package includes a company vehicle therefore you must have a manual drivers licence.
