FULL-TIME RESTAURANT MANAGER WANTED!!!

COASTLINE RESTAURANT & BAR PTY LTD trading as Pier Farm is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our vibrant team at our waterfront location at 34 The Strand, Williamstown VIC 3016.

About the Role:

As a Restaurant Manager at Pier Farm, you'll play a key part in ensuring our restaurant runs smoothly and delivers unforgettable service to our customers:

·         Collaborate with chefs to plan menus, considering seasonality and customer preferences.

·         Organize and execute special functions that leave a lasting impression.

·         Manage inventory and purchasing, ensuring cost-effectiveness within budget constraints.

·         Maintain accurate records of stock levels, finances, and customer feedback.

·         Oversee restaurant cleanliness and ensure compliance with all health regulations.

·         Proactively interact with customers to gauge satisfaction and address any concerns.

·         Implement effective service recovery strategies to turn unhappy experiences into positive ones.

·         Contribute to building a strong social media presence for the restaurant.

·         Develop and document service standards and operational procedures.

·         Recruit, select, train, and supervise both wait and kitchen staff.

·         Manage the reservation process and ensure a smooth flow of customers throughout the restaurant.

·         Provide a warm welcome to customers by greeting, seating, and assisting with orders.

·         Collaborate with chefs to accommodate special dietary needs of customers

·         Regularly communicate with the culinary team regarding customer requests and feedback.

We're looking for:

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Relevant Industry Qualification is preferred.
• A strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Strong understanding of all facets of restaurant operations, from menu planning to staff supervision and financial management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build rapport with both staff and customers.
• Ability to motivate, train, and develop your team.

In return, we offer:

• A competitive salary A$70,000 – A$75,000 plus Superannuation based on experience level.
