As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team in a full-time capacity, contributing to various facets of the business, from the retail space to the newly inaugurated Casa de Vinos Lounge Bar.
Position Overview:
This role presents an exciting opportunity to be part of an established business in the Australian liquor industry, offering substantial room for personal and professional development. As a Retail & Bar Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting a tight knit Retail and Bar offeing, contributing to day-to-day operations and special events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in retail sales by engaging with customers, adhering to Casa de Vinos' retail protocols.
- Support Casa de Vinos Lounge Bar with regular service tasks, including welcoming guests, seating, and beverage preparation, including cocktails and light food.
- Contribute to the successful execution of various events within our lounge.
- Maintain the venue's appearance, including display areas and preparation zones.
- Packing online retail orders for delivery.
- Work towards hosting private tastings and experiences featuring a diverse range of spirits.
- Collaborate in other business areas when required.
Key Attributes:
- Impeccable presentation, positive demeanor and excellent communication skills.
- A deep passion for whisky, high-end spirits, and a genuine thirst for expanding your knowledge in this field.
- Experience in cocktails and high-end service/retail is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work autonomously and follow directions effectively.
