The Role
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Assistant Restaurant & Bar Manager to join our vibrant and exciting Food & Beverage team. Your responsibility will be to support the operation of the team while deliver excellent guest experience at every touch point as well as further coach and train our associates to develop their skills and extend their expertise. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, your key tasks and responsibilities will include but will not be limited to;
- Support the day-to-day operation of the Food & Beverage department across all Food & Beverage outlets
- Oversee the department's staffing, rostering, and overall training opportunities
- Develop and train all current and new Food & Beverage associates to be multi-tasked in providing excellent guest services, maintaining a positive work environment and provide training to deepen their knowledge in food and beverages
- Stay up to date with current trends and assist in the development of new beverage menus showcasing your creativity and innovation
- Conduct performance appraisals, performance management, and discipline, coaching and counselling as required
- Passionate about our guest experience and be innovative in exceeding our guest expectations
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of departmental results and implementing creative strategies to achieve greatness
About You
To excel in the role, you should have;
- Minimum of 4 years in Food & Beverage operations, of which at least 1 years of work experience in a similar position
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and solid financial acumen
- The energy and passion to build the department and the know-how to drive success
- Be a natural and inspiring leader to develop our Food & Beverage team
- Work rotating shift schedule including weekends and public holidays
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
